On this week’s webinar, Giles was joined by Maureen (Mo) Brown, Founder and Managing Director of Sullivan Brown Resourcing Partners.
About Mo and Sullivan Brown
Having worked in Recruitment since 1997, Mo and her team are specialists in HR recruitment and delivering in-house resourcing expertise on a consultancy basis. They have delivered in-house projects for clients from reviewing their recruitment processes to implementing Applicant Tracking Systems. This gives Sullivan Brown an interesting perspective of the recruitment journey from the viewpoints of Hiring Managers, key HR stakeholders, candidates and agencies.
‘Building Talent Tribes’ was the topic of conversation between Giles and Mo and included some great advice on how to create trusted networks for advice and support both across Recruitment and Talent Acquisition and wider business areas.
Mo talked about how the current job market could be described as ‘noisy’. There are a huge number of people currently looking for work and organisations are finding it difficult to cope with the volumes of applications coming through. Managing the level of applications can be hard and candidates are expecting a much better experience. It is important to take a step back and position ourselves as Talent Acquisition professionals for the future rather than transactional recruiters.
